Im not one to write reviews, the game seems very cool and fun but it just will not work, it is very laggy and seems to never let me play a full match due to connectivity issues, which seems weird when im playing on wifi that is very fast, i cant get through one game without it breaking and not working anymore.

Physics and functionality in this game are awful. If there is a bunker, your ball will find it. And progression toward earning currency to upgrade equipment is a joke. They basically force you to pay real money. But I mean, hey, golf is a rich man’s game, right WGT? lol. GFY.

I’m deleting WGT because of the inconsistency it exhibits now. I’m a Legend player and fully understand how elevation and wind affect the shot. Multiple times lately, I’ve had shots go 20 yards long or short on me. I have also noticed when I purchase something thru the Pro Shop that my bad shots still end up good. Not very fair to the ones I’m playing against. It’s too bad because it use to be an entertaining game. Now it’s just aggravating.

Realistic gameplay and competitive multiplayer. Addictive!

If you take a little off your shot let’s say it’s 150 out and your club goes 160 taking just the smallest amount will drop it dramatically

When you play the different rooms, there is no way to back out without loosing your coins, you cannot pick a course or player you will get paired up against someone who’s level is 100 times yours, and the different tee boxes don’t help. The wind is ridiculous, no way to play it. Chipping and Pitching is not very accurate. Putting and Green speed is also not accurate. Costumer service, like with any game,is non existent. Unless you spend a lot of money on balls and clubs you will be disappointed in this game.

I get advertising revenue. But. They are WAY TO LONG. So I’m deleting the app.

I’ve played this game consistently for almost a year. I am familiar with the bugs and issues that exist. Despite the frustration they cause, the game is enjoyable. I’m frustrated by the issues and the very well documented and well known cheating that takes place on the app, both by other players and by the developers themselves. But recently, it seems like there have been more bugs than normal. I reached out to the developers through the help center on the app SEVEN TIMES over one specific issue across multiple weeks. Not once did I get a reply from someone. Each time, I got a canned email saying that my issue was being looked at. But not once did anyone reply. I have spent real money on this game and generated revenue for the developer. I would expect at least one reply and seven tries. I have deleted the app and my profile. Not acceptable!

Let’s start with this. I love this game. They nailed the graphics and the courses. But let’s talk where it fell off. 1. The putting is extremely hard. 2. If you are not going to spend money on clubs then you have no chance as you play against other players as you progress. 3. They do not evenly match you in match play you end up going against people who are 50-100 levels ahead of you. Making it almost impossible to win. 4. People sand bag this game so badly and will forfeit or leave the game which hurts you. 5. In match play it takes FOREVER. Your opponents seem to always take their sweet time to hit the ball on top of the already very slow load time. The game is great. But it isn’t fair. If you play expecting to win without spending money. You are a fool. I play it because I love golf. But I’m not spending a red cent on a stupid game for my phone.

The game is a joke now. These idiots have ruined what use to be a great game. Don’t waste your time.

The putting is terrible. No matter how much you adjust the aim, you will always end up just going where the greens are sloped towards with no chance of going in the hole. The power bar is also useless because if the max of the club is 50 yard and you do half of the power bar it will still only go around 10 yards.

I spent 10 minutes trying to play a game and just gave up. I don’t want any spins or scratches or whatever, just want to play the game, can’t figure out how🤷‍♂️

I am sure it goes without saying but this is the absolute “best” golf game ever! EPIC! Graphics=unbelievable! Courses=serious detail! Play= realistically challenging! Thanks

The new avatars faces look like crack heads can I change my avatar back to previous edition.

Long load times, sometimes….also, ‘Top Golf’ game option disappeared…??? Otherwise, I’ve played for long time for its positives. If you develop decent skills, it’s fun and you won’t need to spend but a ‘bit’ of money…I haven’t, but acquire upgraded equip’t by playing decent golf, usually (LOL!). Also, plays on PC’s too…Good luck…

Recent update and now can’t log in. It’s a fun game if you’re on a level playing field. You can play users with much lower rank who simply can wipe the floor with you. Those who buy the upgrades can get easy access to helpful tools. Those who don’t get short end of the stick. The last straw. Bye! This game is no longer fun to play. Update-3/23/25 Returned to play and it hasn’t improved. Very glitchy and no Epic rewards as in the past.

Option just disappeared, even though it is on in my settings. A lot of lags and quitters.

Ads frequently crash the game and coins are not restored! You will lose your money. Lots of ads even after making a purchase to ‘turn off ads’. Unsubscribing to all emails in Game Settings does nothing, you will continue to get dozens of spam emails daily until you block the game email. Play at your own risk

So you have to wait till they have a free rental to get a sponsor to play without commercials otherwise you have to watch incredibly long sponsor commercials before each match you play. Deleted app. Don’t waste your time.

This is a gambling game. Good graphics and golf play, but it is about gambling, not golf. The code is sub par, with frequent disconnects and suspended games resulting in losing coins with no recourse. Bright future for the game ahead.

Impossible to get good unless you spend a ton of money. The one v one is completely inconsistent once you play tournament mode. Wind+shots never add up correctly

Play in a few recommended tweaks, they’ve done a great job!

I have almost 600,000 coins . Other than change my appearance ( done twice ) , what good are these coins ?

We should never have to play out of our league. It’s one thing if one player has a special set of clubs. It’s another thing to have to play somebody that is way above you

I made an in-app purchase and either I was double charged or over charged for my purchase. I’ve written to support twice and no answer. It’s been several days. Very disappointed in an otherwise fun game.

Looking for a realistic golf game to play as a single player without playing for coins, etc. This isn’t it

Game locks up and will not load

This is a great game, but you take the (a very high probability) of the game freezing up on you. I have sent numerous, and I mean numerous messages about this and over a course of weeks, the game still freezes and you have lost your coins (entry fee). Like an idiot, I still give it a shot, but two consecutive days of “donating coins”. It would be nice to play and enjoy the game, without worrying if it will freeze on you this time or not!!

The graphics are terrific and the attention to detail is has no stone un-turned. I like it so much that I have to ask my wife if it’s okay to make a tee-time.

If so, then this game is for you! Random left turns during putts, winds that should be there amazingly enough stop, golf shots that should work never do. This game openly cheats to “level” the playing field - save your money and pass on this download

It’s a fun and entertaining app, just too many and looooong ads, 30 seconds or even a minute it’s fine but 2+ minutes of adds.

I have been playing WGT for 7 years now. Great course selections, good graphics, semi realistic play. However, unless you are willing to spend money, you will reach a plateau where improvement is impossible with standard balls and clubs. 3 foot putts are missed, distances are restricted and you can’t keep the ball on the green, it rolls off always.

Unbelievably expensive game that forces you to buy expensive clubs and balls to compete. If you lose a ball on a hole, you have to pay for another! Almost cheaper to just go play at your local course. When competing in coin matches, you’re routinely matched with players much higher tiered, which also means they have gear available to them that you don’t. Competing with someone who can use their higher tiered driver to drive the green on a par 4 that you’re 125 out from, puts you at a severe disadvantage and takes away the fun. It looks prettier than the rest of games out there and has the potential to be an enjoyable game. It’s a shame it’s just a money grab with fairness and player experience the furthest thing from the minds of the owners.
